The Church of the Holy Spirit Built in 1647, survived the big town fire in 1861. A typical baroque church built in wood. Mass on Sundays 11.00.
Søndeled Church Roman stone church from the latter part of the 12th century.

Wooden Houses
The old wooden houses in the centre of Risør are unusually well preserved, particularly at Tangen, Kamperhaug and Solsiden.
Risørflekken and Urheia
Risørflekken is an old navigation mark for sailing ships. Beautiful view.
Kastellet at Tangen is a gun emplacement from 1790 with solid stone-walls and canons. Today a recreation area with a small park and a swimming spot.
Risør Aquarium

The giant Potholes At Sild are some of Northern Europe’s largest potholes. Drive from Risør to Laget, then past the campsite in Sandnes until you get to the campsite at Fie. Marked footpath to the potholes.
Næs Iron Works Museum is the only preserved example of the old Norwegian ironworks, founded in 1665 and in operation until 1959. Guided tours from May to August.
