Few buildings in Risør are as iconic as Tollboden – the beautifully designed, yellow building with a fantastic location by the harbor and the approach to the town.

Here you will find nine double rooms with a view as well as our restaurant, Tollboden 1865.

Park Café, our stylish gastropub, is open, and hotel guests are welcome to use it as a lounge overlooking Risør’s inner harbor.

Sørlandet Feriesenter is located in scenic surroundings at Sandnesfjord, midway between Risør and Lyngør. A holiday complex for the whole family with large, grass-covered areas, sea views and a private beach, it offers rental of holiday homes, cottages, apartments and rooms of various sizes and standard.

The facilities provide a wide range of activities for the whole family: Heated outdoor pool, playground, big jump cushion, mini-pitch, mini golf, table tennis, fussball, sandy beach, beach volleyball, boat rental, canoeing, kayaking, etc.

The surrounding area offers great hiking and natural charms such as the potholes at Sild – nature’s own bathtub!

Risør Hotel, a family-run hotel with a warm atmosphere, is located among the old and well-preserved wooden buidings of the charming neighborhood Tangen, right on the seafront overlooking the beautiful archipelago. There are four apartments for 4-6 people with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room with TV, private balcony and bay views. Right on the seafront you will find four cabins with eight beds, kitchen, bathroom, living room with TV, wi-fi and a private, secluded patio. Great hiking area nearby with marked trails and good fishing spots. Risør Coastal Culture Centre and the historic Moen Boatyard is located next door. Public bus service to Risør.
